I, too, was a lurker about a year ago with similar opinions about some spiteful postings (there are several offenders here...). But I decided 1) that CCGTCC membership was a different issue than participation on this board, and 2) like most things in life I needed to ignore a bit of bad to have a bit of good.

I did join, and I wound up still checking out the board daily. It is a great way to join fellow enthusiasts in our hobby, and learn a lot, too. I attended my 1st convention last year and had a terrific time. I hope you are able to make it.
