Let's get our facts straight regarding the complaint you filed.
YOUR COMMENT: Please note, my issue was initially sent to the proper officer, an individual that was running for Club President. He in turn said I had a legitimate issue that had merit, but he needed to send it elsewhere for consideration as HLM-001 was supporting his election to the board and didn’t want o rock the boat.
As is standard procedure any complaint is suppose to be sent to me. My sole job is to review the complaint to insure it has been properly filed with specific references to the Code of Ethics and that it is not a frivolous issue. I never adjudicate a complaint myself unless for some reason Travis has a conflict. As is standard procedure I forwarded the complaint to Travis to investigate.
You imply because the individual you filed the complaint against had publicly endorsed me that I passed it on to Travis rather than making a judgement myself. Travis is the person responsible for determining the merit of the complaint not me. I don't appreciate the insinuation that I didn't do my job because of a friendship.
As I recall I told you that I felt your complaint met the standard (specific references to the Code of Ethics) and based on this it merited being forwarded to Travis rather than me denying it. I also said even if it hadn't meet the standard I would not reject it because it would be a conflict of interest on my part. Standard procedure was followed through out. Travis investigated and made what I believe was a proper decision. I'm sure anyone else knowing all the facts would agree.
