I asked another very well know seller why he had stopped shiping to Australaia yesterday. He told me that due to where he was that lining up at the post office due to the customs dec. form etc was time he just couldn't afford. Absolutely fair enogh. What really irks me is when they offer to ship internationally but then charge like a wounded bull because they don't really want to go to the hassle. If you don't want to do it, don't offer it I say.

Anyway the seller was kind enough to enable me to bid on his items in the end anyway. There are also plenty of fantastic sellers out there who only charge what it costs them to ship the chips. To them I raise a cold beer in thanks.
