Apparently not. I tried to mail a couple chips today in one of those saf-t-mailers. On Monday, I sent four of those, at .58¢ each. Yesterday, I sent one with four chips in it; it cost .75¢ (reasonable, I thought). Today, that same four chips cost me $1.47 to ship.
