I know that poker has ups and downs but boy am I down. Tuesday, I had two flushes and three fillies and lost on all but one full house. Friday, I had just gotten back even playing less poorly than usual when I flopped a Broadway--the nuts hand to that point--built a great pot but with two diamonds to the River I couldn't drive one guy out and sure as heck a third diamond hit and I was done in again. Oh, lordie, how evil is the curse upon me. But I shall return to the Indians next week and try again.
