Kurt, hopefully this will help in your re-evaluation. Tiger has taken millions of his own money and established an elementary school that helps low income students from all ethnic groups from the Anaheim, CA area. My daughter teaches elementary in Anaheim and students from her school have applied and have been placed there. The school is well equipped and is a highly desirable addition. I believe it has only been open a couple years and was featured on 60 Minutes (I think) a while back. Tiger hasn't forgotten his roots.

Also the day after he won his first US Open, I believe, he went and caddied for his old Stanford roommate at a tourney in Las Vegas. Maybe one of our LV guys knows more about this and can give more information. From what I hear he played it down as best he could. Seems he joined his buddy after the 2nd hole, or so, so his presence wouldn't be a distraction. Someone saw him and told the people at the starters desk and they said "No way." I’ve seen a picture with Tiger in shorts carrying his friends bag, had to be hot in the summer, right?
