I have seen those Tangiers 6-chip sets advertised as "New from the Tangiers Casino as seen in the movie Casino". I have also seen them as advertised as replicas, and also as originals. I'm leaning towards fantasy chips, but what IS the truth? Was there a Tangiers casino? I know the movie was based on real events--if not the Tangiers, which casino was it? So come on you masters of all things chip related, help out a confused newbie.
