I was really hoping that you could explain Canada Post to me. lol I guess I will have to continue to continue to accept whatever they tell me.

FYI, if you're shipping to Europe (from Canada), I have found that it is cheaper to ship with delivery confirmation and Insurance than without. Explain that one!
