Mike,
a) I explained in a polite email to Chuck that I understood the reason for his increase.
b) I save all the flips I get for storage, or shipping of chips that I sell.
c) I realize there is a cost of doing business. The NIS guys do deserve a profit for all the driving around, standing in line, shipping charges, etc... I just felt that Chuck's new price increase was too steep for me. Yes it is a lot of work, but it must be an aweful lot of fun as well. You get to meet and socialize with fellow chipppers, probably do some selling or trading in line, and go out for lunch, or a drink afterward. Sounds like a good retirement to me.
Finally, sometimes I only buy one chip a month. I know he offered cheaper rates if shipping three or more chips, but I would rather not wait 2-3 months to get the latest Hard Rock chip.
Be well,
Glenn
