Yes, after you raised the cost of your $5 NIS chips from $7.50 to $8.50, and your $1 chips from $2.50 to $3.50, I cancelled the three chips I had on order from you, but it's not like I'm quitting the hobby or anything.

Andy will still be selling them for $7.50 each, and there are others who are asking that or less for theirs. Rob Lange posted some Hard Rocks today (what I mainly collect) for $7.25 shipping included, and I have seen others post their HRs for $6.00.

I think it was what you said in your email to me that finalized my decision. You said "I expect some of my customers to quit, but oh well, I have ATE every increase since 1997...that's 10 years...no more"

It didn't sound like you were too concerned about losing a five year customer like me, so yes I did quit. Quit buying from you, but not collecting. I thought I was very polite about it and thanked you for the terrific service you have provided throughout the years, but then you had to go make a contest out of it.

I can't imagine why you made such a stupid post. Nothing better to do?? Am I the only one who is refusing to pay your new "postage" fees? Some of us are on a fixed income, and just try to same money when we can. I am sorry if it has caused you any hurt feelings, but I can't help it. I told you I understood your situation, but apparently you are unable to understand mine. That is really too bad because I really did think you were a great guy...but oh well.
