They did use these type of cards at the end at the Stardust, but still had crates of unopened decks left when they auctioned everything off. Some people probably paid way too much for them. That's my understanding.

Also, I can't see how anyone could be fooled by this auction. The deck is clearly sealed and they even say it's still sealed.
