Thank you for posting this. I printed it out and read it while on vacation a few days ago. Pretty thought-provoking stuff. I wasn't familiar with Raymond Kraft's writings before, but have found another of his articles that makes you stop and think:

Although in it Mr. Kraft demonizes the Democratic party a little more than necessary to make his point, it is a very plausible scenario that he puts forth.
