Denise and I went to the SS office about 4 weeks ago so I could apply for permanent disability. Imagine my surprise when I signed on today to see if my tax refund had made it to the bank, to not only find the refund but two rather large deposits from Social Security. I wasn’t expecting a real hard time, but did not expect results in 30 days. Having received no notification from SS , it looks like this is retroactive benefits back to Aug. Normally we all bit*h about SS. Maybe I was just lucky
