A dealer will also sometimes cancel an auction if there are not enough bids(or even if there are no bids),to prevent snipers from getting in at the last moment and "stealing" it.Maybe he/she felt that it was not generating any or enough action and simply decided to end it so they would not have to give it away for just the opening bid.It happens sometimes.
It's the old.."I'd rather throw it in the garbage or give it to a charity than sell it for that much." I know it's weird but then...so are people sometimes right?
