If you are willing to drive a bit more (up to 1 1/2 hours one way) you could also visit the following, all 3 are large full service casinos:

Treasure Island, Red Wing
Grand Casino, Hinckley
Grand Casino, Mille Lacs

These 3 casinos are all in different parts of the state. Most of the other casinos are pretty far away from Minneapolis.
