I know the area. There are no casinos right in Minneapolis, or it's first ring suburbs. Within a reasonable (less than an hour) drive you will find:

Mystic Lake Casino, Prior Lake - a large full service casino.

Little 6 Casino, Prior Lake - very close to Mystic Lake, it is in fact owned by Mystic Lake. No big deal.

Canterbury Card Club, Shakopee - only a few miles away from Mystic Lake. Minnesota's only true card club, no slot machines on the premises.

In Minnesota Blackjack is the only table game allowed in the casinos. (Many casinos do have Poker Rooms). No Roulette chips here!
