I've played a number of the daily NLH tournaments at Paris. These are great tournaments because, frankly, the players aren't that good. Lots of tourists who want to try poker like it is on TV. I've won one and finished 3rd in another at Paris. The poker "room" (actually just a sectioned off area of the game floor) isn't that great, but if you're an amateur, it's definitely a good place to start.
