Since 1996 less than 100 people have died in school shootings.

Every year, over 300 children die in bicycle accidents, from head injuries due to lack of helmets.
That's over 3,000 in the same 1996-2006 period.

It would seem that bicycle helmets are a LOT more important than gun control.
