I just got hit on a package I received and tried to mail 2 large flats that previously would have been OK in Wisconsin and now in Florida with 1st class postage + $0.60 Delivery confirmation.

Now they wanted priority mail postage plus $0.50.

I chose 1st class postage plus $2.40 each for Certified Mail.

It was my taxes, so I wasn't going to fight it, but I hate the new enforcement. I think postal people around the country must have been called to a meeting by their supervisors with this as a big topic.
