Okay! Here it is.
No-limit game. First player to act bets 6000.
Next player announces All In for 6500.
I have pocket rockets and want to protect them. I announce Re raise all in for 19000.
I am then informed that I can not go all in at this time as the second person to act ( the 6500 all in ) was unable to go at least 50% more than the first better ( the 6000 bet ). I am informed that the rest of the players are now locked in at her initial all in raise of 6500. We can only call that 6500 and not re-raise.
I am told that after te flop we can all bet call and raise as we so desire, but not untill the flop.
I was under the impression that I could re raise all in after her 6500 re-raise, as to raise enough as to get the first better to lay down his hand and not get to see the flop. As it is, he was able to just call the aditional 500 and see the flop of 4-7-9. This gave him trip 4's and killed my rockets.
I am told this is the standard rule in Vegas and all other major caino's.
Did I get boned???
As I requestet int the subject line...Help!
