I don't know what is goofier.......
Gamblers thinking they can actually alter/predict the outcome of a roll of the dice by "setting" them up (legally), or a casino prohibiting it.
I heard of this a few years back and looked at it out of curiousity. I can't see how a thinking person could come to the conclusion that it can be done. Think of the physics involved.
The only problem I can see a casino having with "setting" the dice is the loss of time it takes for the shooter to set them up. If I were in charge. I would not prohibit it, I'd welcome it. Someone who thinks they can "set" the dice is someone I want gambling in my casino.
