You have heard of sticker shock, well effective May 14 these are the new prices of sending a first class letter to packages.

To send 1 chip it will now cost $1.13 for the 1st ounce. Letters will go up 2 cents.

These is an increase to cover rising cost of gas and more non-letter mailings that require manual processing.
