I think there is a good argument for both formats. I can see an agent promoting the company that is best for them (common problem among 'independents', also with some less reputable travel agents). Company agents are just that company agents. They are the company man not the customers. I have allstate, and have never had a problem, but have never filed a claim. But they cash my check without objection every 6 months.
