I am sure you are correct. I just wanted to clarify my comment in light of yours. I really have no problem, by the way, with the person I refer to. I am just in a position where I personally feel unable to support a candidate which many others support for lack of sufficient information. I truly wish I could go to the convention (for many reasons, of course), and if I could, I would certainly try to seek out all of the candidates, but I think votes are due before then anyway. I think of it like an interview. An enthusiastic candidate may win over a more qualified candidate who seems lackadasial. Since I am new to the club, I have no way of judging past efforts, so I can only go with what I know.

I hope the candidate I refer to reads this, sees themself and becomes more active. Otherwise, my options will be limited, and I will vote with the information I have.

Honestly, I have been a little surprised that no one has pointed this out in the many spirited election threads.
