Since I said for those of us who can't make it to conventions, so that really won't help me much. The real point, however, is that a candidate's desire for an office is revealed to an extent to the amount they reach out to potential voters, not the effort put out by the voters themselves. Obviously, not every member makes it to the convention. Most of the candidates have make significant appearances on this board and the club board, except one, who has made some appearances, but very few. I believe that candidate is probably a terrific candidate, but I don't know enough about them to sufficiently decide to vote for them. I have corresponded with them and I received a very friendly response, but I have to take into consideration the effort put out by the opponent, who has been very visible. I'm not saying I will vote for the other, but it is a big factor that I can't ignore.
