If you don't take the extra insurance coverage which I never do make sure to have with you all your insurance information.
I had an accident during the Super Bowl Show. The car was towed back to the lot and they wouldn't give me another car until I could provide them with all my current car insurance information.

On another note relating to another thread. I once had an accident also in Vegas with a rental and no extra coverage. The kid who hit me had his license 3 weeks and made an illegal left handed U turn from the right lane. Took out my front end and spun me around. He was issued a summons. I was automatically given another car and never heard a word from my company as his company (Allstate) paid everything right away.
