I'm sure there are good and bad stories about every insurance company, but Allstate really screwed me a few years ago.

I won't go into the details, but I did end up talking with two different VP's at Allstate. They both stated that I fell through the cracks and what happened to me should have never happened and wouldn't happen again.

I asked them to make right on my case and they both balked and said they couldn't do it. I told them that they could make right and I would remain an Allstate customer and tell people every chance I got what a great company Allstate was or they could screw me and I would tell people every chance I got that Allstate SUCKS!!! They chose the latter, so I am telling everyone now that ALLSTATE SUCKS!!!!! Wow, that felt good!

The most amazing thing is that had they done the right thing, it would have been a helluva lot cheaper for them than screwing me. They had me in a rental car for six months!!
