It can be a little nerve-wracking starting every chip we list on at face value with no reserve. Especially when it is listed as a "V" in TCR10 for $400-$449 (Gulp!).

For kicks I checked James & Steve's book and found out that they list the chip as a R-8 with only 8 known and value it at $600/$900/$1,200.

... so now I'm thinking SOMEONE is going to get a great deal on this chip 'cause I can't see it getting anywhere near the $600 mark (low US Chip Guide value) by Sunday when it ends.

The chip is a Khoury's Club Savoy chip from the early 50's. This arodie is from the downtown Fremont Street casino that closed in 1953. It's pictured below.
