They said they expected Allstate to tell me that and force them (My Insurance) to have to do all the legwork, estimations, coordination of work, etc. then send a bill to Allstate for them to pay. They save manhours doing nothing. My insurance company says they WILL fix my car to my aproval and will 'go after' Allstate if that's what I want to do. PROBLEM IS: My insurance company will not pay for a rental either because I elected NO RENTAL coverage. My insurance guy thinks I AM entitled to a rental but THEY cannot go after those damages since I am not covered for rental on THEIR policy & they cannot pay for rental for the same reason. I would fully understand IF I were at fault. But I am not at fault and deserve to be made whole, and that means not being deprived of transportation...
