I used 'suitability' to avoid using 'in good standing' twice.
However, I think you will find there is a 'suitability' discussion with regard to the Treasurer position.
Wouldnt be much good if an 'unknown' candidate turned out to have a string of fraud convictions preventing the club from getting the necessary insurance bonding.

That said, it never seemed to prevent anyone getting elected in the political world
