I've been away, and would have posted earlier, but most of everything has already been rightfully covered.
I will add that some years ago (at least 4 or 5, if my memory serves me right) a collector/dealer put together a guide of Nevada Limited Edition chips. Entitled "ChipStar" it was intended to cover all Nevada Limited Edition chips, and although many were catalogued (and pictured) it was not complete and certainly has not been maintained.
The author is no longer involved in chipping (as far as I know) and perhaps one of the collectors hanging around here might have a copy they might be willing to part with. (I got my copy that way about a year ago.)
I will also add, visit the Nevada Gaming Commission and State Gaming Control Board website. They publish a Chip and Token Report (monthly) that lists all approved chips and tokens. Each month is listed by city and goes back to 1990. (Here is the link: http://gaming.nv.gov/chip_token_rpt.htm )
Unfortunately, there are no pictures, and you'll have to read the descriptions to get an idea if the chip is an LE (it is not fool-proof).
Otherwise, reading this message board, asking questions, viewing all of the already referenced websites will add greatly to your knowledge. And who knows, maybe one day you will be the resource for Las Vegas Limited Edition chips!
In the meantime, have fun and thanks for joining the !
