This is my reply to the thread started by Michael Clemente/curseofthorn22 posted on chiptalk, link below...

Today my refund finally posted in my bank account. Here is what Michael wrote to me after my most recent posts...the post I made after waiting 2 weeks while this supposed refund was processing.

I am on the phone with PayPal right now. I am being told that the refund is pending their approval and should be procesed by either todays end or tomorrow. I still don't know why you need to keep posting these slanderous posts. You know as well as I that this is being resolved thru PayPal and you have the same way to check as I do. I have not robbed you as you stated and you will be refunded your monies as soon as PayPal finishes the dispute.

Michael- Thank you for finally resolving this, I do appreciate it. As far as the posts on forums are concerned, I found that to be the only way to get your attention. I sent you multiple emails, to your aol address, ebay, and chiptalk, only to hear no response from you for 3 weeks. All I wanted was a refund for chips that I never received. I have yet to get any reasonable explanation for why my chips were never sent, and for why you did not contact me after I asked for a refund. I also warned you in multiple emails that I would go public with the details of this transaction if you didn't do anything to resolve this. I wonder if you would have ever refunded my money if I didn't go public with this? You contacted me immediately after I posted on the chipboard...even though I had sent you half a dozen emails before with no response.

I think there is a lesson for you to learn from this transaction anyway. That is, you MUST communicate better with your customers. You need to take the time to explain what is going on, even if it is not favorable. And, when a customer sends you email after email, you must respond to them. This transaction was for $1,345...that's a LOT of money to me!!! That's a LOT of money to have tied up for 2 MONTHS!!! I think it justifies much better communication than you showed to me. I think you should try to clear your name in this matter, but it is going to take a reasonable explanation, and personally, even if its unfavorable, I think it ought to be an honest one.

I absolutely agree with Quads on this issue, and don't beleive that we will ever have the explanation that's needed to restore trust in this seller. The truth in the matter is, I had to go way public, and out of my way to get my money back here. How many hours have I spent chasing down my money?
In my opinion, Curse had an interest free loan from me for 2 months. I sent him email after email with no response through his Paypal account, ebay, chiptalk pm's, and his personal aol account. He responed to me up until I asked for a refund, and then disappeared for 3 weeks!!! He then initiated a refund through paypal, but did not fund it and disappeared for another 2 weeks, until I went public again, and all of a sudden POOF he reappeared.

Micheal, I say to you right now, take a deep breath, suck it up, and tell the truth, in great detail...or I beleive your chip selling repution will be untarnishable forever. I will never forget this series of unexplained events, and I urge the ChipTalk community to never forget either.

How do we make our members accountable? A person could join tomorrow and not know about this and get scammed by curse, or a copycat. Get your ChipTalk interest free loans today!!!!! I think we really need to hold Michael accountable for his actions here, I am willing to give a second chance to someone who has the courage to be honest. What curse has offered up to now is vague at best, and at worst totally dishonest.

Micheal, sit down in front of your word processor and type out the truth...
