However, I drink Irish Whiskey, not scotch whisky. My whiskies du jure are Bushmills Triple Cask (sherry, bourbon, port) 16 year old and Jameson Master Selection 18 year old. I feed my guests Bushmills 1608 (12 yr old) or Redbreast (12 yr old)., unless they want to try one of my other dozen Irish Whiskies.
I used to drink scotch, but then decided to try good whiskey.
I'm also a certified beer judge and have judged various competitions including the Wisconsin State Fair homebrew competition, and worked on the taste test panel for Miller Brewing Company when I worked for them in the 1970's.
In beer I prefer Guinness (I've been to the brewery at least 3 times (as well as Bushmills distillery), and have developed a taste for Belgian Ales from my trips to The Netherlands and Belgium.
Are my credentials OK?
