I'm on my way over to the Palms right now for opening night of their new concert venue The Pearl. I spoke to George Maloof about it again yesterday, and finally got him to put a price tag on the place. Get this -- 80 MILLION DOLLARS. For a place that seats around 2000 people. I haven't seen the finished product yet, but when I visited during construction it looked astounding.
