Ok, you have a JVC HDD Everio Camcorder. That is different from a digital camera. Drag and drop the clips to your computer, rename them from .MOD to .MPG and they should play. You should have some Cyberlink software that came bundled with the camcorder to edit and play clips or Windows Media Player or Quicktime should play after you change them to .MPG clips.
