There's really no reason for the UV lights to be much more expensive than cheap lights with other color LED's, or even white. The one I showed was of very good construction, with an aluminum barrel, good switch, o-ring seals on both ends to keep water out, and high capacity batteries so you don't have to keep replacing them.

I got it from a web site that specializes "military and police" type stuff. For the Sherlocks among you, UV also makes blood (and some other bodily fluids) glow. It also makes your luminous watch dial shine REALLY bright [g].
