The thin line versions seem to be in the regular H/C mold, while the thick line version appears in the long cane version (LCV) mold.

Also, in my three chips (two of which are the LCV) the LCV's are slightly larger (in diameter) than the regular H/C version. I measured a 3.5mm difference with a plastic micrometer.
