Extinct would be when there are no remaining survivors of the chip. If 100 were made, and 100 destroyed. Extinct would be as Gene discussed with the Palms chips he used as an example. 100 percent of the chips were destroyed. His information relating to numbers is exactly the point I was making. Information is the key. Okay...perhaps I should say correct and reliable information.
In his example, assuming there was no elusive chip that escaped the chip munching machines by making a last minute dash for freedom and slyly rolling under a desk, those chips are extinct.
