Don't consider that an ID...just sharing my suspicions. I have a few of these myself and would love to figure out where they're from.

I've never found any gaffed examples of these ivoroid dice, and I collect both gaffed dice and Chicago area dice. I have lots of gaffed transparents though! Maybe the transparents gave a false sense of security.
