OK heres my story, my last name is westlake, I live in michigan. I'm 33 years old, I never played poker to much until I got married and the inlaws played alot. I had no home chips to speak of, so I went on ebay to buy a set. I didn't want the plain jane 30-40 dollar set, I wanted chips from a real casino, so I was on a misson. I scrolled thru 3000 chips, my wife thought I was crazy, until I found a guy that had crystal park casino obs. I really liked the chips, so I bought a 500 set. 6 months later I checked back with the guy and he was running out, so I bought 300 more. I played with them chips like they were a 40 dollar set, until I found chiptalk.net. I realized how they were worth and cut the home game short for a while, as I try to coplete the crystal park obs. I run into a guy who had cfc vegas express chips for sale, so I bought quite a bundle for my home game and to sell. Meanwhile I"m buying different chips that I like. I went on vacation and went to a shop to look around, low and behold I found the imfamous colonial club chips. By no mens am I an expert, I uassally find my info on the internet. I do the best I can to find the most info out and some might be wrong. So thats how I ended up here and wow what a explosive couple of days, I learned alot, and would like to learn more. One time I went into comp usa to buy some stuff for my computer. I walked up to a gentlemen and asked him some questios, the man was very knowelegdeable about where he worked. The only wrong with him was that he was rude and aragont, and that really depressed me. All said I went shopping somewhere else. To my knowledge casino chip collecting is gaining popularity, just like as for me. Lets hope that this kind of thing doesn't push a potential chipper away. GOOD DAY ALL
