Understood. There was also a Colonial Club in Pekin, down by Peoria, that was a gambling hot spot in Illinois in 1950. Since the Purple Crackle is also downstate (as we refer to stuff south of Chicago) and the chips were found together, it is most likely that the chips were from the Pekin club.
Note that Owney Madden also ran a Colonial Club outside of Hot Springs.
But I'd bet the chips in question are from Pekin (without any further facts).
