To be honest the reason why i want to collect chips is just because i want to i just have this thing for them. I do not even gamble but I want to have chip collecting as a hobby. I think it can benifit my life. I was wondering if i went to a casino how do i ask for uncirculated chips? Or do i ask for a rack of a denomanation and cherry pick the batch. I do not want to have just one location type collection i just want to collect chips as a whole. But i want to do it the smart way. I do not care if my whole collection is based on current chips. Because one day they will not. Do you believe that a chip can fall behind its face value? That is why i am not too sure to buy chips that have a face value of 5 dollars and up. I been studing this hobby for weeks and havent been sleeping to much since i want to learn as much as i can. It seems that certian people are trying to make this hobby worthless. Like what happened in 1999 to baseball cards and comics the market for these items pretty much crashed. I had Baseball cards worth 1000 going up. now i am lucky if i could get a dime for it.
