I had thought that the prices realized by the dealers at the annual convention were higher than on . The auctions during the convention time (such as Doug Saito's auctions & the auction) seem to end up getting higher prices than on . Last year's Club auction didn't fare as well, but those preceding last year always seemed to capture prices above & beyond those on .

And every year, a lot of the good chips seem to change hands even before the Convention doors open!! I do notice that prices at the Convention seem to be higher, but you get to inspect the chips versus what you may get from an seller, so peace of mind for me is worth paying for. But you have to remember...my opinion is based on the fact that -- basically -- I'm CHEAP !!
