I didn't think LCDs would be susceptible to burning from continuous displays since there is no phosphor. I didn't bother to put a screen saver on the 19" I bought last year but I see spots appearing where the Win Desktop icons are brightest. Probably a good idea to put a screen saver or at least blank the screen after an hour or so of no use.
