I just finished reading a book titled "Casino Chip Collecting" published in 1994 author Donald D. Spencer. It probably was published trying to get more chip collectors signed up. My question is a chip club was noted as "Western Casino Collectors Club" at 1100-8 Sepulveda Blvd. Mission Hills, Ca. They were also suppose to have a magazine. What happened to them? Are they now the Southern California Club? Is Donald Spencer still around? I thought it was funny when he stated that you could "repair" broken chips with "clear glue" and replace missing letters with a "paint stick". Did have some neat old pictures in it tho. The CC & GTCC conventions were noted in the book and stated that the membership was over 1000 in the club.
