Don Lueders in Feb 18, 2007 posted a long lists of different casinos that used Win Cards for promotion. Go to search under his name you can see the list.
The casino during promotional time allow a player who is a member of the casino club to pick up a coupon from the promotion booth. The player then goes to the cage cashier who will sell you the Win Cards (chips) after paying $10.00 they give you 15 chips which is sort $1.00 at the table games or you simply exchange them with house chip go back to the cage cashier and cash them for $15.00 - automatic pocket money of $5.00 or else you go out of the casino with the Win Cards to trade or sell here in the board up to $7.00. There was a post last week with the so called early spring cleaning selling them.
There were several posts and discussion of the discontinuance of the Win Cards in some casinos.
If I am the casino manager I would not promote my casino this way - I would rather issue $1, $5, $25 and $100 as a set in 100 or 70 sets to sell at the table - instant money for the casino instead of the hassle in the accounting and chip bank books.
I hope you got a good grasp of the Win Cards.
Good luck with your search and hunger for knowledge.
