I live in a city where high-density population is a source of pride and religion by the Marxists who run this place. When I was in LV for the Big Show last Aug., the dealers and other casino workers were already feeling the pressure of the pace of LV w/o the condo towers. I asked these folks, how are all these new condo dwellers gonna fit in here? Consider dumping that many more residents into the strip area plus their support personel (aides, maids, family etc.) plus service and delivery vehicles, owners, automobiles and several hundred fleabag pooches and Las Vegas will be well on their way the same goal Portland Or. aspires to achive, namely to be a world-class city. Like Calcutta perhaps!

Speaking of pooches,they are one of the Portland casualties of overcrowding. Folks trying to enjoy our many, many city parks with their families are repelled by the piles of dog feces and the enjoyment that big dogs show by knocking down toddlers while "off leash". Soon special doggie treats laced with Paraquat started showing up in various parks around town, probably as a result of people with human kids trying to hold their own against people with canine "kids". Of course, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Highrise life out West? Careful what you wish for.
