The reference is to the political parties not the individuals. I think both teams are screwed up. They may have good players, but the teams are a mess. Even the worst team in baseball has an all-star.

I would agree that their are some good apples in both bunches. The team analogy is sad because currently I think the parties (both) are more concerned with beating the other than serving the people. It is solely my personal opinion, but I believe it is shared by many folks.
