When I attend the convention I don't wish to offend anyone with my attire. Typically, I'm a shorts, tennis shoes, and T-Shirt kind of guy, which is my default attire.

If formality reigns, I can upgrade to a blue button-down oxford shirt, to go with my shorts and tennis shoes.

Are there any circumstances where this wouldn't be acceptable? What is considered appropriate attire at the various functions?

Being somewhat anal retentive, I need to get this settled and planned this month, as there's only 6 months to go.
