Received an email today from one of your longtime members here telling me to post this on the chipboard.
I have two of the original James Bond License to Kill movie prop chips on eBay currently and have been getting spammed by someone claiming that these are Chinese knock offs, etc.
What I would like is for those of you who are EXPERTS in the chip collecting area, to weigh in here on this chip or whatever else that's of interest regarding these chips for future reference.
Last week, I sent a note to someone on eBay (not t-birdernie by the way) telling them that their 1998 Paulson Bonds were NOT original movie props and they proceeded to report me to eBay for harassment, and then slammed me in numerous follow up emails telling me that I was an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about.
Although I personally cannot authenticate the chip, I know that it makes no sense for anyone to try and make a copy of a Paulson chip such as this without having a huge market out there ready to buy. You all know that if the Chinese were able to make a true knockoff Paulson chip, the entire Chiptalk.net community would have the largest group buy in history ;-)

My other auction is for the R-6 Dunes $1 chip that I purchased from James Campiglia for $295. As I also have an R-5 chip there is no need for me to have both versions. Interesting though is that unless the chips are side by side, it's almost impossible to tell the difference between the blue R-5 and Navy R-6 chips. I'm willing to take offers on either of the two chips. The R-5 chip is on the left and it's in excellent condition and even sharper edges than the R-6 which Jim listed as SU+

NOTE: I've tried to click the links to the auctions above via preview and it's not working, so if it happens, I'm on ebay as the same name listed here.
Thanks
